Lakeland Sports Podiatry specialises in biomechanics and sports injuries. Your first biomechanics appointment will include a full assessment of your problem by taking a comprehensive history, followed by an assessment of your biomechanics, posture, joints and soft tissue quality, and your overall movement. You will receive treatment on your first visit.
Your condition/injury and overall progress are constantly re-assessed on each subsequent session.

We employ a shared decision making process where we decide together based on the clinical findings and your preference of treatment. Individuals respond differently to a variety of treatments, therefore we use a combination of therapies or interventions to reduce your musculoskeletal pain and improve function such as; rehabilitative exercise, orthotics or insoles, taping and strapping, footwear advice, gait re-education.
